Brian Sechrist is a Lighting and Sound Designer based in Grass Valley, California. While the bulk of his work has been in lighting, he has experience in nearly all areas of theatre and is always seeking out new and challenging opportunities. Brian has his MFA in Theatre in Design and Technical Production from the University of Alabama. Brian has worked for Kentucky Wesleyan College, Sterling College and University of Montevallo teaching technical theatre. Brian served in the Army for five years in between working for theatres in California and Alaska. Brian has had the pleasure to work for Mt. Gretna Playhouse in Pennsylvania, the Performing Arts Center in Anchorage, Ak, and Foothill Theatre in California.

In his downtime Brian enjoys spending time with his nephews and nieces, working on carpentry side projects and playing board games.
